You are hereby notified of the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council for Bardney Group Parish Council, that is to be held in the Southrey Village Hall, Highthorpe, Southrey on Thursday 19th May 2022 at 7.15pm at which the under mentioned business will be transacted. There will be a 5 minute public forum prior to the start of the meeting between 7.00pm-7.05pm where members of the public may address the council, and your attendance is also required during this period.
MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO ATTEND, HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE MEETING FOR ITEMS WHERE IT HAS BEEN RESOLVED THAT PUBLICITY MAY BE PREJUDICIAL, DUE TO THE SPECIAL OR CONFIDENTIAL NATURE OF THE BUSINESS.

1-2022/23 Election of Chair. To elect the Chair of the Council for the forthcoming year 2022-2023. To receive the Chair’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
2-2022/23 Election of Vice-Chair. To elect the Vice-Chair of the Council for the forthcoming year 2022-2023. To receive the Vice-Chair’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
3-2022/23 Apologies for Absence. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting.
4-2022/23 To receive a report from the Chairman.
5-2022/23 To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interests.
6-2022/23 To receive and consider any dispensation requests on agenda items and decide whether they are to be granted.
7-2022/23 To approve as a correct record the notes of the meeting held on 21st April 2022 and to authorise the Chair to sign the official minutes.
8-2022/23 To agree the dates of Parish Council & Council Committee meetings for 2022-2023. Dates proposed are the third Thursday of every month with the exception of August and December; 16th June 2022; 21st July 2022; 15th September 2022; 20th October 2022; 17th November 2022; 19th January 2023; 16th February 2023; 16th March 2023; 20th April 2023; 18th May 2023.
9-2022/23 To agree:
i. Membership of standing committee’s
ii. Chair of standing committee’s
iii. Date of meetings of standing committee’s
iv. Council sub committee’s and membership.
10-2022/23 To receive and consider a report from the Clerk to the Council on any outstanding matters and correspondence received since the meeting of 21st April 2022.
11-2022/23 Financial matters:
i. To approve the bank reconciliation statement for April 2022.
ii. To ratify payments of accounts, salaries, BACS payments & payments already made.
iii. To approve signatories for bank accounts.
iv. To ensure compliance with external audit requirements:
v. To consider the Accounting Statements by the members meeting as a whole;
vi. To approve the Accounting Statements by resolution; and
vii. To ensure the Accounting Statements are signed and dated by the person presiding at the meeting at which that approval is given.
12-2022/23 To consider the revised price increase from the grasscutter.
13-2022/23 To consider planting bulbs on the banking adjacent to the Cemetery
14-2022/23 To consider undertaking ILCA following the Personnel and Review Committee comments and contract clause.
15-2022/23 To confirm date of next meeting Thursday 16th June Venue TBC
