Minutes of a meeting of Bardney Group Parish Council held on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at 6.30 p.m. at the Village Hall, Silver Street, Bardney.

83/25/26 Fire Safety Announcement

The Chairman gave a fire safety announcement.

 

84/25/26 Apologies for Absence

RESOLVED to note that there were no apologies for this meeting.

 

85/25/26 Declarations of Interest.

RESOLVED that there were no declarations of interest under consideration on this agenda in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 s32 and The Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012.

86/25/26 Public Question Time and Participation

There were no public questions.

 

87/25/26 Chairman’s Announcements

The Chairman welcomed Members to the meeting and give any announcements matters on the agenda.

A list of the division of duties between the Parish Clerk and the Assistant Clerk and RFO was handed out at the meeting to all Councillors.

 

88/25/26 Minutes

RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the Finance Committee held on Wednesday 5th November 2025.

 

89/25/26 Finance

Members were asked to:

  1. Note the following as of 31st October 2025

 

  • Accounts
  • Bank Reconciliation

RESOLVED to note the accounts and the bank reconciliation.

  1. Precept

 

Members were asked to consider:

 

  1. The budget
  2. The precept
  3. Increase/Neutral budget and Band D equivalent
  4. Any other Precept related decisions

 

Following lengthy discussion the following was RESOLVED:

  1. The budget be £94,360 – precept being £90,133 + £3,127 from general reserves and £1,100 from earmarked reserves.

 

  1. The precept be £90,133 = 4% increase on 2025/26 (£86,666)

 

A recorded vote was asked for:

  • Councillors Fleetwood, Clarke, Lane, Carbould, Papworth, Laughton
  • Councillors Lintern, Percival, Derby
    Abstain: Brown, Bates

 

  1. 4% increase and Band D £122.13

 

  1. Members noted that West Lindsey wanted the indicative figure this side of Christmas with the final figure in January 2026. Members noted that a final Council Tax Base was yet to be received.

RESOLVED to note that the date of the next meeting of Bardney Group Parish Council is Wednesday 21st January 2026.
