Minutes of the extraordinary meeting of Bardney Group Parish Council held at Bardney Village Hall, Bardney on Tuesday 12th August at 7.00pm.

There was 10 minute public forum when members of the public were able to address the Council on current issues or items that may become future agenda items.
 
Issues bought to the attention of the Council:
• Risk posed to road users by electric bikes and scooters.  Advised to report all incidents to the Police.
 
 
1. Apologies for Absence.
To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting, in accordance with Local Gov. Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.
 
2. Declarations of Interests.
To receive declarations of interest and to consider dispensation applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.
 
None received
 
3. Exclusion of Press and Public
To determine which items, if any, are to be discussed with the press and public excluded
 
RESOLVED That item 4a and 4d will be discussed with the press and public excluded
 
4. Items for consideration and resolution
 
a. Delegation of funds to P&R Committee
Council were asked to consider the delegation of funds to the P&R committee to access legal advice and support
 
RESOLVED That a budget of £2,000 is delegated to the P&R committee to cover the cost of legal advice and professional support
 
b. Purchase of laptop computer
Council were asked to consider the purchase of an additional laptop computer for the Clerk/RFO
 
RESOLVED That a new laptop is to be purchased with a maximum budget of £500
 
c. Emails and website
Council were asked to consider a new email and website contract.  
 
Cllr Ian suggested training in order to use the current website.
 
RESOLVED That the Clerk is to research email providers with a maximum cost of £30 per month
 
d. Contract options
Council were asked to consider external contract 
 
RESOLVED That the Clerk will research possible service providers
